Portage Fire Paramedic Station #11

The flagship Winnipeg Portage Fire Paramedic Station #11 is a two-storey, four-transport-bay fire hall, located on one of the most unique sites in North America. The site chosen for this development provided a unique and innovative opportunity to reclaim an unused island surrounded by a clover leaf bypass located on Portage Avenue. As a result of the location, site planning and traffic controls for this site were challenging to accommodate; however, the site also offered excellent access in all directions within the city.
