Polycast

Polycast is a company that specializes in the design and manufacturing of epoxy-cast electrical components using copper. Many of the materials, equipment, and tools have been designed and built by the owner.

The design focused on exploring circulation, natural light, and occupancy as organizing elements, and studied the flow of materials through the current space. The building facade is composed of vertical insulated metal panels (IMP), and existing concrete block with a prevailing aluminum black metal panel portal. A cooler colour scheme was used to relate to the nature of the building use.
